Real Independence

To find yourself, think for yourself. – Socrates

Putting aside the powerful notion that one does not find themselves, but rather creates themselves, let’s take what we can from Socrates words.

If you keep using and thinking other people’s words, you will be living as a imitator, never really knowing who you are.

As July 4th and Independence Day approaches here in the USA I ask you look at your life, your relationships, your thoughts, and figure out what you need to release, what you need to become independent of.

Until you identify these parts of you that are really from other people, and that don’t serve you, your experience of life will be diminished – and you will limited in your ability to create yourself.
