Own The Problem – Be The Solution

One way to get centered in the locus of true power is to say, when a problem arises, “If there’s a problem, I’m the problem.” Now you can do something about it! Because if you’re the problem,  you’re the solution. This is not about self-blame and guilt. It’s about always becoming the solution. – Steve Chandler

So many people are unwilling to see themselves as either partially, or fully, responsible – as part of the problem.

They resist this as doing so would cast them, as Chandler says above, into shame and guilt.

But that’s a misunderstanding.

Being part of the problem, or the problem, is incredibly empowering!

There’s no quicker path to a solution than one that starts with you.
