What Actual Humility Is

Humility is not thinking less of yourself, it’s thinking of yourself less. – C.S. Lewis

So many people (or at least the ones with enough self-awareness) get this wrong.

They think, consciously or otherwise, that they need to make themselves smaller, or lesser, to be “humble.”

It’s a mistake of thinking.

You’re amazing.

You have so much to give and offer, and you’re really pretty freakin’ neat.

You don’t need to think less of yourself.

Just think of others a bit more.

That’s all.

Try it, a little bit each day.

Start small and see how good it feels – and how much better about yourself you start to feel.
