The Power You Have

If you are distressed by anything external, the pain is not due to the thing itself, but to your estimate of it; and this you have the power to revoke at any moment. – Marcus Aurelius

The simple truth of these words is SO powerful.

Whatever you’re feeling is the result of what you think and believe about a situation.

How you feel about a situation determines what do – or don’t do – about it.

And remember, this goes both ways, whatever you’re feeling – good or bad – is a result of your thoughts.

Want to feel good about something?

Find the good in it, find a way to use it, benefit from it, . . . .

Whatever you seek, you will find.

Tonight is not only one of those times, but I don’t even have the wherewithal…
