How Does What You Do Make You Feel?

Good character is more to be praised than outstanding talent. Most talents are to some extent a gift. Good character, by contrast, is not given to us. We have to build it piece by piece by thought, choice, courage and determination. – John Luther

The (great) thing about (good) character is how it makes you feel.

It is intrinsically rewarding.

Meaning it feels good because it matters to you.

Having, and acting in accordance, with good character is being in harmony with life and the Universe.

When we act ethically and wisely, we are in tune with what created us and what is.

When we don’t, we are in dissonance.

And, if nothing else, dissonance feels bad.
