Don’t Wait For Inspiration, Create It

Inspiration is for amateurs. The rest of us just show up and get to work. – Chuck Close

If you wait to “be inspired,” you will likely end up waiting a good long while.

Instead, get to work, get in motion and make your own inspiration.

Create it.

Do you need to choose carefully, doing things that matter to you?

Absolutely.

And once you do, you will find that inspiration comes to you, and flows through you.

Inspiration is like a river.

Action is the water and inspiration is the energy that moves the water.

You can either stand on the bank and stay dry (i.e. safe) or you can jump in and get wet (i.e. inspired).

I say jump in, the water’s just fine.
