Sometimes, Walk Alone

If you find no one to support you on the spiritual path, walk alone. There is no companionship with the immature. – Buddha

Couple things come to mind when I read that quote:

1) You’re more than you think.

It’s okay to “walk alone” if that is what’s needed.

2) You’re the average of the five people you spend the most time with.

If you’re walking someone else’s path, and that path isn’t the right one for you, you need to find your own path. That doesn’t mean you stop loving that person, or that you never spend any more time with them, just that you let them walk their path and you walk alone – if need be.
