Obstacle or Opportunity?

This week has been a bit about language and meaning so I had* to share this quote.

A key question is: what is our attitude towards the events of our lives?

Because, in truth, everything that happens (that we notice) is just an “event,” devoid of any meaning other than what we consciously and purposefully or unconsciously and automatically ascribe to it.
