Intelligence & Fitness

In an interview with Tim Ferriss I heard Tony Robbins say something very interesting.

He mentioned the difference between emotional intelligence and emotional fitness.

It was such a powerful distinction for me . . . .

Yes, the latter requires the former, but the former is (really) meaningless without the latter.

Meaningless I say!? (And you perhaps object?)

Yes, in a practical sense, meaningless.

I’ve spent a lot of time reading books, filling my head with facts and stories and theories and ideas.

And it’s helped.

But what really makes a difference is application.

Putting the ideas, etc. into action.

That’s something I am going to explore more in the days and weeks ahead – and will be writing about more.
