Be Clear

It’s not so much how busy you are, but why you are busy. The bee is praised. The mosquito is swatted. – Mary Flannery O’Connor

It’s not enough to not be passive, one must have desire.

It’s not enough to move, one must have a purpose.

It’s not enough to be active, one must be working towards a worthy goal.

So many of us confuse movement for action, or busy-ness for worthwhile activity.

Be clear.

Tap into your desires.

Know your purpose(s).

Be clear about your goals – and yes, be sure they’re worthy.

  • The Actual Issue

I am reading a great book by Ronald and Mary Hulnick, “Loyalty to Your Soul” and have to share something I read: “How we relate to an issue is the issue.” This is such a powerful idea. “Issues” are happening all the time. How we decide to interact with them makes all the difference. When we…

  • Redefining Perfect

“Perfect” gets a bad rap. Why? Because it’s confused with “perfection” which is, non-ideal and non-resourceful. Things are perfect. And by “perfect” I mean they are just as they should be. There’s no way they could be any other way than how they are. Things are the way they are by virtue of the choices…
