Act, Now

“Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.” – Theodore Roosevelt

Once again, I am writing to myself here. Time and time again, I have shown myself that when I act, I learn, grow and succeed. And when I prepare, and prepare, and prepare, and . .   all I ever get is prepared. I never accomplish what I say I want.

To be sure, preparation is important. But I sometimes over-prepare.

How about you? Can you think of one area where you could just act, now? Surely there’s one thing you’re sufficiently prepared for? You have my permission — and heart-felt encouragement — to act, even if you’re not sure you’re ready.

Chances are you have enough, know enough and are skilled enough.
