Do Beliefs Matter?

Create the highest, grandest vision possible for your life, because you become what you believe. – Oprah Winfrey

Let’s imagine that the “truth” of life is that you’ll fall somewhat short of what you aim for?

I don’t necessarily believe that, but just for sugar and giggles, let’s pretend . . . .

What should you aim for then?

Maybe the better question is, do you know what you’re aiming for?

Most people don’t, or have only a vague idea.

I can assure you that if you don’t aim for much, you won’t achieve much.

Let’s assume you’re doing some “aiming” in your life. How high is your aim?

Are you willing to invite some fears and uncertainty into your life and name something that you’re not sure you can attain?

I hope so because it’s only way to achieve anything of note.

And, back to the “somewhat short” thing I mentioned before.

Aim high because if you find a way to reach it, great!

If not, you’ll “land” in a much better spot than you would have with “realistic” (i.e. low) goals.
