Gaps (and how to fill them)

I want to talk with you about gaps.

Two gaps in particular.

The first is the gap between where you are and where you want to be.  We all have this gap, and once it’s closed, we find new things we want.

But the gap means we need to change, and we’re hard wired to avoid change.

The gap also means we have to work hard, but we don’t want to work hard if we’re unsure of the outcome.

The gaps also means that our lives get better, or at least different, in good ways.

I help people bridge the gap. I do this with coaching and all sorts of other related stuff.

The other gap is what’s in between having someone do something for us, which in the realm of personal development either is impossible or doesn’t last and the good feeling we get from a speech, seminar or book.

How can one achieve goals that matter, in a sustainable way, if out most important work is something we must do and external “motivations” don’t work?

Coaching, or more clearly the work I do with my clients, fills that gap (the second gap I mention just above).

If you’re curious, and want to bridge the gap from where you are now to where you want to be, contact me and we’ll set up a time to talk.
