Action Creates Luck

“I am a great believer in luck, and I find that the harder I work, the more I have of it.” – Thomas Jefferson

The truth in TJ’s words is something I was blind to for some time, and I resisted it after that (still do, but less… ): it is only when we get in action that we learn and grow.

Often times the hardest work is starting.

But when we overcome the inertia, once we get moving, things change.

We find new and better ways of doing something we had struggled with. We find new and better things to do, once we get in action. Resources, connections and willing partners only reveal themselves once we are moving – once (and only after) we have shown ourselves as willing to work.

What are you going to start today? What are you going to take action on – today?
