I would tweak Wattles’ language to the following:

By thought, the thing you want is brought close to you. By acting you bring it into your life.

Maybe that’s what Wattles meant, and we’re (or just me . . . .) limited in not understanding the language he used back then.

Regardless, the truth for us here is our thoughts create our possibilities and our actions create our realities.
