With You or Without You

I don’t believe in a fate that will fall on us no matter what we do. I do believe in a fate that will fall on us if we do nothing. – Ronald Reagan

This is more than a clever turn-of-phrase.

It’s a truth that we need to face, and embrace.

Life marches on, with us or without us.

We can choose to be active in the arena of change or we can turn away from the swirl and wonderful chaos that is life.

One things for sure, nothing is static and things will happen – with us or without.

Perhaps “fate” isn’t the right word, or the one you would choose, but the truth is you can be a player or spectator.

The game is being played regardless.
