Creation or “Possession?”

Creation is a better means of self-expression than possession; it is through creating, not possessing, that life is revealed. – Vida Scudder

I offer this for your contemplation.

A mentor of mine is a big fan of “creation.” Meaning, it’s better to be creating than anything else.

Not the sort of “creativity” that we so typically ascribe to artists and writers and musicians, but every-day creativity.

The idea and practice of being open to what’s in front of you and focusing on what you want in life (not what you want to avoid) – and making it come into being/reality.

What’s your ideal in regards to self-expression?
