Get The Small Things Right and The Big Things Take Care of Themselves

“It’s the little details that are vital. Little things make big things happen.” – John Wooden

Often, many of us, are easily distracted by the new, the shiny, the novel. And big things.

We take note of grand accomplishments and gestures. Yet we don’t notice so much.

Our brains are natural filtering mechanisms. There’s simply too much stimuli for us to process it all. So we filter.

Said another way, we focus. We focus on certain things.

The little things often escape our focus. When some “event” happens we take note, but we rarely consider all the small events that led up to the event.

We hear of someone’s success and it almost always seems “overnight,” that what they became happened one night while they slept.

That’s not how it works.
